Rapture’s Enchantment

Yes, I’m going to tell you about a store in Second Life. And as I’ve come to expect, the store doesn’t sponsor me, nor does it pay me. Its creator, a friend, just asked me if I could talk about it, and I agreed, telling her that I would give my opinion in complete independence.

Having said that, I’d do it again. I know a couple of designers on Second Life whose work I appreciate, and who therefore deserve a mention. It’ll always be the same principle: no sponsorship, no payment and I say what I want in total independence. The fact is, Gor boutiques are becoming rare and the designers who try to keep them going need help. And after all, my site is designed to help people discover the world of Gor, so why not help you dress and equip yourself?

I’m going to tell you about the Rapture’s Enchantment store, which pretty much only makes clothes, accessories and furniture for Gor role-playing. The store is vast, with a nice choice, and I’ve put a few photos below to give you an idea. An added value are some of the accessories and outfits, especially the bellydance outfits and Gorean dance accessories and hud, which are of good quality and varied. Not all models are suitable for all mesh bodies, but the designer is in the process of updating everything. There are also outfits and accessories for free women, so hair and face veils are particularly successful and detailed.

Personally, I plundered the dance stuff, unsurprisingly, but also or a couple of accessories, like the doctor’s handbag, which I really like. I also really like the dance silks, which are rich, detailed and modern, and I really recommend them, they’re beautiful enough to wear proudly to a competition or public show! When it comes to camisks and kirtles, I’m less of a fan, but when you get to know me, I’m very picky – and some say exotic, too. I rarely wear “traditional” or classic slave outfits, and Rapture’s are too classic for me.

Last but not least, Rapture’s Enchantment is associated with the Seraphim website, and the Seraphim Hud, which lets you explore a store without leaving home. So, go visit, take a few Lindens dollars with you, and treat yourself! It’s a great place to start dressing when you’re just starting out as a kajira, but also as a free woman! And it’s great for pretty dance silks!
